Additionally, you can use multiple Watch faces on your device, each with many different combinations of complications to best suit your needs for particular activities.

For example, I have a Modular watch face (which has four complication slots) that displays the date, battery life, and weather, plus shortcuts to the Activity;

And an Activity watch face (which has three complication slots, of which I’ve opted to use only one) that displays my activity progress both numerically and visually (by the degree to which each ring is closed), with a shortcut to the Workout application.

Do Apple Watch complications drain battery?

A lot of iPhone applications also offer a Watch application, which uses the power on your own Apple Watch to make sure data is synced between both applications.
